Task:
We were commissioned by an architectural bureau to visualize a major redevelopment project on the city's waterfront. The scope extended beyond just designing buildings; the challenge was to illustrate the creation of a high-quality public space accessible to all citizens. Our renders needed to tell a holistic story: how new architecture revitalizes the shoreline, turning a neglected area into a vibrant social hub and a strategic asset for the city.
Revitalizing the Shoreline
To capture the full magnitude of the vision, we started with a bird's-eye perspective. This angle is crucial for demonstrating how the redevelopment transforms not just a plot, but an entire district. It clearly visualizes the complex's integration with the river, bridges, and the city center, proving the project's strategic importance to the urban fabric.
Descending to eye level, we focused on the core value of the project: the new public waterfront. Our task was to depict it as an active, permeable space. The visualization highlights pedestrian routes, leisure zones, and connectivity with water transport, showcasing how the design turns an unused shoreline into a popular destination for walking and recreation.
The final render illustrates how contemporary art shapes the unique character of the public realm. The integration of a large-scale art object is a bold statement, transforming the square into an iconic landmark. Combined with thoughtful landscaping and evening lighting, this creates an inviting atmosphere for meetings and community events.
